Rick is a specialist in acoustics with a background in audiology. In the past 3 years he gained experience in room acoustics and acoustical measurement techniques. At Royal HaskoningDHV he has developed expertise in environmental noise and building acoustics. He gained experience by collaborating in challenging projects. Rick is currently also employed at Eindhoven University of Technology as a project researcher.

His graduation project on binaural sound exposure in classical musicians in 2012 was awarded first price for best graduation project by the Dutch Foundation against Noise Nuisance (NSG).

Rick pursues excellence. His personal goals are to obtain more knowledge and experience in the field of acoustics and to apply knowledge on interrelations between human sound perception and objective acoustical measures in challenging
and inspiring projects.

GOUDEN DECIBEL AWARD 2012 - For most promising graduation project. The Gouden Decibel Award is an initiative from the Dutch foundations Stichting Innoise and Nederlandse Stichting Geluidshinder. With these awards they hope to achieve nationwide awareness for the negative effects of noise nuisance.
